So today i went out to do the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal that me and some friends signed up for last Wednesday 
. What is it? Well its basically just a volunteer charity collecting program knocking from door-to-door at various neighborhoods. So yeah… i woke up around 8am, got ready, then arrived at the meeting place where everyone else was at around 8:50am with my sister and her friend (cos they were doing it too). There turned out to be quite a lot of people, and some from different schools too 
. Anyway so i met up with Angela, Jason, Dave and Cecilia who were all already there then lined up to get my ‘pack’ (which was a bag that contained a name ID, money collecting bag and a receipt booklet). After that Yinnie, Julie and her sister came; they got their packs; then the 8 of us waited for our driver to arrive (we were meant to go on the mini-bus). Well after about 30mins of waiting we ended up just splitting and going in separate cars since there was something wrong with the bus or whatever 
So yeah… i ended up going with Angela, Jason and Dave. So we got into the car then drove off to our designated area. When we got there we split into pairs; Angela went with her boyfriend (jason) so me and Dave were left together 
… which personally, i found quite awkward since i hardly talk to the guy at school 
LOL 
Actually it wasn’t as awkward as i thought it’d be. We talked quite a bit about school and all the work we have and stuff; he’s quite nice lol . Anyway so we walked around knocking for about an hour, occasionally meeting up with Angela and Jason every now and then. Most people donated around $5-$10 but a few also donated $20 and even one guy donated $50 
haha. There were a couple of rude people who pretended they weren’t home (but we could see them looking out the window 
geez people these days) haha but yeah, all and all it was pretty OK. It was pretty funny too; Jason went walking up to a house then this huge dog came chasing after him so he had to jump the fence to stop getting bitten but then he lost his shoe in the process but after a while of waiting for the dog to go away, we were able to retrieve it 
Haha so yeah at around 11am our driver drove us back to the meeting area (he was monitoring us the whole time just in case we got like.. kidnapped or something) then we gave in our packs and money then got a free sausage sandwich and Mcdonalds voucher for participating Then we stood around waiting, and found Dion and went up and talked to him. (turns out he went collecting donations in my neighbourhood and even visited my house LOL). Then the others arrived and we all waited to get picked up to go home. Except when i got picked up we went shopping lol 
I spent most of my earnings i got last week from work Haha so yeahh, thats about it 
I liked volunteering and collecting donations lol it was pretty fun . We get certificates for doing it too so yeah, i’ll probably shove it in my resume if i decide to find another job 
Anyway onto other stuff… my sister failed her driving test last Thursday 
It was sad because she got a 90 score but then towards the end got an immediate fail because she accidentally drove over 40km/h in a school zone. Otherwise she would’ve passed. She was crying and everything but then got over it pretty quickly. She scheduled another test but i dunno when it is so yeah. 
Blehh, so i’ve started my science assignment well, sort of. I bought the book i’m gonna write it in LOL. I can’t really start it yet cos i haven’t decided what to do. Well, its either a) Compare the fat content of various sausages ; b) Test nail polishes for hardness or ; c) Investigate the strength of toilet paper. Still undecided 
Anyway i have a math topic test tomorrow. So i better go study.

awww! thats so cool that you did volunteer work! thats such a good thing! xD the dog thing is funny! it wouldn’t be if he wasn’t okay though :] and THATS SOOOO SAD about your sister’s driving test. I have to take my permit test eventually and i’m like AHHH… ooh i like c for the concept of your science project xD. well the fat content of sausages could be fun. anyways :] blah.. have any song ideas?
LOL at losing the shoe hahaha. Ooh science project, try the toilet paper one?? Idk, that’s always a popular topic. I did mine like 3 years ago and it won 2nd place at county fair ahah i’m so conceited that I must mention that it got 2nd place everytime I talk about science projects x_X”

i like the juicy and dolce sidekicks, my friend used to have a dolce one but she’s extremely spoiled and very very materialistic gossiper. btw that thing costs 700+ dollars (american)
